Have only read the first few pages and at the moment it feels like an outline. We are first lengthily introduced to the town. This feels unnecessary and somewhat travel writer. It seems to miss the necessary alchemy that turns a book into a novel. I need to care and at the moment I don't. I think Celia Imrie is just lovely.

Loved it's strangeness.

Fun with heaving bosoms, croquet and denial. A lttle anachronistic but sparling.

Lovely readathon with lifetime favourites. Susan Coopers characterisation and atmosphere are wonderful. Beautiful.

I loved this one, possibly because it was even more peculiar than the others. A veritable Sophie's World of a Book. Just lovely.
