Passable in that there was a story but took too long to get started.
Moody and broody Marquess who needs to get over himself and a woman who does not trust him. Too many story elements presented in an awkward manner. Not a smooth progression in the storyline.

Once I started, I could not put it down. By chapter two, I was "hooked". Good story and well presented. IF you enjoy "magic" and mystery with a bit of the "Fae" included...then this should be a book for you. Warning...you will want to read the next in the series.
