I find most of my books online from the Dakota library, via Libby -Overdrive. As I mentioned in my update, these books unfortunately never get listed on Goodreads. I'm probably up to 200 books so far this year.

I finished this long ago. Because I get my books mainly from the library, via Libby/Overdrive, few are listed here. I'm over 200 books now, which is unfortunately never recorded on Goodreads.

I don't understand the mechanics of Goodreads. You are never accurate in my book list, even though I post updates. Wish you'd get it together so this would be a good source.

Returned this book to library. Can't read Elizabeth George any more. She gets too political and her plots move too slowly.

Not really. Couldn't get through this one. E.George is getting repetitive and boring.

Just finished The Lincoln Highway" by Amor Towles (A Gentleman in Moscow). Very different from Gentleman but a good read anyway. I love the way Towles draws the reader into the story. Thankfully, it's NOT another coming-of-age book.

Currently reading "American Dirt" for my library book club. I believe there was a lot of controversy around this book. I will be eager to see if I think so.

Didn't like the new Elizabeth George book. She's becoming a cloned-type writer with no new ideas.
The Devil's Grin is a re-read for me. Good book.
Past Tense is a nice look at Reacher's past.

part way through -- a wonderful read so far by an excellent writer.

I've read so many books besides these listed. How do you update? Only through purchased books at Amazon? or Kindle? I read 2 or 3 a week from the library digital download website. These are never mentioned on Goodreads.
