Hmm, ok, this is different from what I usually read and I like how we've started out here so fingers crossed this gets me out of my slump

I wish I'd enjoyed this more - It has alot of the elements I should enjoy and yet I had trouble really engaging with it. Took me weeks to finish and that is not like me. I just didnt connect with the main characters that much and I feel like having read "How to Become the Dark Lord and Die Trying" I had come across a similar character who travelled to another fantasy world and enjoyed that way more.
