Greer you got me, I didn't see that coming! This is so, so, so unpredictable and fun!

I only started this and am already this far in! Greer’s snippets did not lie, this is reviving my work weary soul

It was ok.

I don't hate it but I did find I wasn't really incentivised to keep reading - the romance was a bit bland and the threats never really felt high until well after 50% so I didn't feel overly invested.

Hmm, it's interesting so far. Decent pacing and it's very cleanly set up the characters and world. We're being given the idea that they're going to set off after the Murrys father eventually and the groundwork for where these characters sit in themselves and their world is being firmly established - the only snag for me is the way everyone talks.

Damn I forgot how good John Green is at telling a factual story. Man is so good at getting me interested in the history of tb by weaving in both the macro and micro histories, the global and personal etc. I know this from youtube obviously, but it’s tickles me how I can hear his voice while reading

I want Grimes more than dead :)
