The book is ok, but it's very dense and not a fast paced read whatsoever. Doesn't live up to the booktok hype either, but it's alright.

I wasn't sure what to expect after Clown in a Cornfield got a lil silly, but so far this book is much darker and much better written! Digging it so far!

This is easily one of the creepiest horror novels I've read in YEARS! I don't want to stop reading but had to do it'd last than 2 sittings. There are so many concise, well written, scary moments in Incidents, and I imagine a haunted family would behave in exactly the way this one does in the novel. Can't wait to fully review this! Whomever compared it to Skinamarink is stupid lol, that film was trash.

Wow this book is fantastic. It's like Night film x Helter Skelter x Blair Witch and I'm only 88 pages in and shitting myself lol. Nevill's research of "guerilla documentary filming" really shines- you feel like your right there, eager to learn all about how they fun and it adds such realism to the horror that's already coming for them! I can already tell this one's a winner!
