I feel so weirdly, protectively jealous of Jamie. I can't evennnnnn.

The writing in this reminds me so much of Audrey Niffenegger's writing in The Time Traveler's Wife. At points its as though we are in a story in a universe where Clare Abshire is a musician instead of an artist and narrating everything. Regardless of any stylistic or character similarities, I did very much enjoy this book. It's heavy, there's a lot of emotions, but it's captivating.

This took me so long to finish, not because it was bad, but it was heavy. It was angsty, and gave me a lot to think about.
