Reading this because my 5th grader is currently reading it

I read the first volume a couple of months ago and had ZERO idea this author was from Michigan. This is very exciting. I wonder if I could get enough copies for our teen book club and invite the offer to our video meet <3 I love this story and the characters.

There is a Q&A section asking if it is okay to laugh or go out when in mourning. I am happy this is included as it is a real feeling when grieving.

The first book was good. This one is better so far. Definitely not for middle school... maybe not even lower high school due to some of the sexual references event though it is not "on screen."

Delightfully fun. I would read the next one
