engrossing characters..

No where near as "scary" as I remember as a kid . But still some fantastic ideas.

I think this was my first real "horror book" back in the day.... Decided to give it a re-read to see how it feels

I think i've know all this before.
Its almost like a "western version of buddhism".. there is a lot of overlap in the "mental discipline" and goals..

very different.. and not sure i liked Moominpappa's convoluted voice...

i dont know if im excited or worried to read this... My kiddo has given my Moominpappa cups and pajamas for father's day - and they are my favourites.. I hope Moominpappa lives up to his expectations!

This is _really_ hard to get into..
Its an old book and the writing style is a tad different to what I'm used to... But perhaps im just not in the mood for it?

pure comfort read at this point.
