Lovely lovely book!

Just amazing!! Wonderful pioneer settler story.

Love it so far! Set turn of the century in, well, I don’t know the location yet, but I’m hooked!

Interesting facts about the time period and life as a servant. Mystery is not bad either!

So far, a smidge above okay.
I think it could be much better if it moved faster. Also, not sure it’s truly an “inspirational” book.

Just fantastic. This book is amazingly good.

What a great new voice! The writing is crisp, current and fun! The main character is interesting and the setting, her parents’ Noodle Shop, art in Ohio is great.

You can never go wrong with a Debbie Macomber!!

SO good. So, so good.
Ehrman is a solid writer and shares a lot of information without a textbook feeling.
I’m learning so much about the rise of Christianity but also about the Bible in general.

Liking this so far!
Discovered it on a rabbit hole of “if you liked this book, try this one.” Main character, the teacher, Amy, is funny and the premise of a writing class is a clever one. Apparently there’s a mystery to boot, so I’m intrigued!

So excited!! I just love Denise Swanson and her other two series.

This is good. So good. Unassuming but from the first paragraph, I was right there with the characters.

I'm enjoying this! It switches back and forth between two people and two time periods.
One of those books where the house is almost a character...something spooky is going to happen!
