This book is finally getting better. It was good, then ok, then weird (creepy), and now that the guy I started hating got what he deserved, it’s getting better. I just had to google Richard Burton. But will I ever find out who “Dee Moray” was in real life? Or is she a fictional character?

Chapter 15 is just what we all need to read right now.

Riveting

I'm reading this because I was curious to read it before my 6th grader has to read it after winter break. It's sad but it's the harsh reality of life in another country not so long ago. I'd love to protect my sons from the scary realities of the world we live in, but it's better for them if I let them learn the truth and be honest with them whenever I can.

I'm just a bit uncomfortable with this one twist.

Already finished the first chapter and I am liking this book. I like Lucy. She's my kind of Texas gal, a spitfire.
