Amerika'daki Köktendinci harekete mensup kadınlar, kendilerine açık olan tek yaşam biçiminin, itaatkâr ve doğurgan eşlik/annelik olmadığı, laik ve çoğulcu bir dünyada yaşamaktadırlar. Laik bir devlette Kökten-dinci hayat tarzını seçen kadınlar için bir "seçim" söz konusudur;
Köktendinci bir devlette yaşayan kadınlar içinse "kader"!
