something about the writing/dialogue/way the characters speak is just *off* but I'm still enjoying this weird bug guy

not to be rude but i think this is genuinely one of the worst written books i've ever tried to read? dude popped a boner over "the round globes beneath his pants" while other dude was crouched over a dead teenager??? every character being described by their ethnicity first every single time they're mentioned??? open the schools!

Would be cool if we stopped mentioning how rich Jamie is every fifth paragraph lol

i blinked and there were *thirteen* more of the books released after i finished the first two a while ago

have decided i'm not a v big fan of one of the main characters talking about how awesome the idf is at least one every book but maybe thats just meeeeeeee...i'm already 3 books in at this point so i might as well just finish to see if i'm right about the killer (which i totally am lmfao)

i only ever read the first one so time to re-read because i remember nothing then finish the series lol
