This book is not favorite. It’s a struggle to get through. Most books this year, I’ve read in 5 - 7 days. This book is taking me weeks.

In the books I’ve read by Emma Scott, she has a similar theme: underdogs fall in love. The stories are wrapped in different packages with the same theme at the heart. That being said, I thoroughly enjoy her books. She draws you in quickly and keeps you there. She is vivid and poetic in her descriptions. I have to tear myself away, each time I put down her books to do other life tasks.
