After the first novel with a Roman Empire modeled Radchaai empire we now have a distinct pre civil war USA south, complete wiht plantations, identured service and the same kick-ass character replete with female pronouns. I must say this is a joy to read on many, many levels

This is a work of art. The drawing is epic, the quality of the print amazing and the subject huge. Absolutely worth it

This books is enormous fun to read if you are a maths and sciences geek.
Gauss for me always equaled complexity and really, really hard math. Pretty much meant terror whenever exams came by.
