If Sorcha needs to die in order for the saint to be resurrected, then can she die in other ways? Will she fail if she dies in other ways? And is she sinning against her god by putting her life in danger by running away and being stupid?

They have werewolves? And Adrian had a nurse? He was rich?

I don’t understand the cult. They worship a god of death, and the god will be resurrected and kill the unbelievers. Why? Why are the unbelievers bad? Why do they want the death god to come back? What is their Mythos, what else will the death god do? Will he destroy the world except the believers and they will prosper? Will he punish evil? Why is out main character so afraid of death? Why doesn’t the cult offer

There are vampires and shifters in this world but we are stuck with Sorcha and Adrian????

Why did they introduce Kahina Lorna and her job AFTER the revelation that she is the one that snitched on Sorcha to the prince?

Sorcha is just left alone in Adrian’s tent? No guards? And they leave her alone again when Adrian has some secret mission? And there are multiple spelling errors in this chapter

I find this dialogue between Adrian and sorcha really unbelievable. She’s his captive and yet they talk as equals? She’s allowed to speak? He wants to talk to her? She’s a captive but not in like, any real way except she is traveling with them

The wolf said in the last chapter that sorcha has a face that he wouldn’t have noticed in a crowd but then goes on to talk about her beautiful eyes in great detail and also is very much into her while she’s fighting him and hissing at him and being…. Well like being a captive. He throws in da line about her weighing almost nothing and being small and delicate because OF COURSE

The main character is already talking about how handsome the wolf is. She has just been taken from her city that has been sacked and everyone is dead. But she’s talking about how handsome he is? I find this extremely unbelievable because everyone she knew and loved was killed by this army and she’s not grieving as much as checking her captor out?

The court transcript and the gollum scene were scary. Nothing else is really? But these 2 scenes were good
