Noses!

Uncle Toby and Corporal Trim are now in my literary characters hall of fame.

I was pretty much swooned by this novel when I learned that the Fremen spit on the ground as a sign of gratitude.

When I’m away from this book for a long time I think “this book is okay” but then when I read it for 30 minutes I think “this book is Goated”

Back on the saddle with my two best friends! Don Quixote and Sancho Panza!

Been plugging away since mid-December. I can’t quit now…it’s great.

Okay I get it now…from a lot of literature I’ve read that’s been published between the two world wars, I have drawn the conclusion that the rise of fascism and the slaughtering of millions was inevitable.
Nothing had been learned nor understood from WW1.

Quixote arguing with the crazy man in the mountains is like two fanboys arguing over lore.

I’ve had this copy for over 10 years and has gone unread until now. I could not have anticipated what a treasure trove was awaiting me!
