Although she's trying to sound inspiring about the benefits of forgiveness every few paragraphs she throws in a sentence that reads like "only once you've forgiven will you not experience..." It feels like the other half of the sentence, left unwritten, reads "and if you experience that, it's your fault, because you didn't forgive/didn't forgive enough. Author says- refusal and inability to 4give- both your fault.

Daniel Hardy is starting Radical Business: The Root of Your Work and How It Can Change the World
I thought I had finished it and found it without a bookmark under my bed

Some strategies are questionably radical-

The author discusses some things that appear positive and are negative, but then discusses similar "left-washed" ideas without criticism.

I'm going to have to restart it because I remember tearing up hand written notes on this book.

About 1/3 in-
Like the book for it's resources, recipes.
Lots of crunchy pseudoscience and related cognitive dissonance (Don't cook in microwave safe plastic, but it's fine to send your kids to school with plastic if you worry about glass breaking - no suggestions about using metal if plastic truly were a concern.
"I'm not a dentist- do your own research before using homemade toothpaste"- not "ask your dentist"

I'm perhaps halfway though this book. It's a Good and detailed book. Someone in the reviews described it as encyclopedic, which I could agree with. However, the pure enthusiasm and detail with which the author recites some of the most painful parts of our history comes across as endorsement of those atrocities. It's a matter of impact over intent.

Daniel Hardy is on page 80 of 224 of The Queer and Transgender Resilience Workbook: Skills for Navigating Sexual Orientation and Gender Expression (New Harbinger Self-Help Workbook)
so far i'm really liking it. I'm surprised by some of the outdated languages (author self-described as "temporarily able bodied" a phrase that is generally seen as inaccurate and outdated by the disabled community since the mid 2010s. Enjoying the in-depth exploration of identity and privilege.

Daniel Hardy is reading The Explosive Child: A New Approach For Understanding And Parenting Easily Frustrated, Chronically Inflexible Children
I really like this book. I'm a pediatric psych nurse and I see my clients (and my 10 year old) in the vignettes throughout the book. I have heard about this book for a long time and finally got around to reading it; it's got such good advice that comes from an understanding and loving place.

Daniel Hardy is reading Fragile Things: Short Fictions and Wonders
Darker and more sexualized than some of the others of his than I've read but I like the short stories and I liked the little intros at the beginning, that let me know why/how each one came about.
