Neema : Favorite character, I love how nerdy she is, and the need to correct everything
Cain : loving him so far, how funny, cynical he is, his banter and free spirit
Ruko : i understand the book started with his bad deed, but for some reason I am hoping he turns out to be a good character and not the villian, just misunderstood
Vabras: i don't get why he cares so much about FML but i'm loving him so far

Again with adultery, I can't help but judge, I am a Muslim arab that lived her entire life in an arab world, it seems absolutely ridiculous to me how almost every character has either had intercourse outside of marriage or cheated on their spouse, like it's not such a big deal, it just seems unrealistic, I can't get passed it

These characters are not religious, but I found it quite odd, except the Mother of bilal it seemed like everybody is living a western life, drinking and smoking are accepted and quite the norme, I tried my best to ignore this.
her first husband had to be gay to justify the love between her and bilal annoyed me, it could've gone in different routes but he had to be gay

Alright, things went down hill starting the the fifth part, chapter 54
Too many subplots, too unreasonable, felt a bit all over the place
My poor sel, I felt so bad for him
I was going to rate this a 5, by the 4th part I realised it's more of a 4, now it feels less
I'm not even sure whether I'm going to read the next book or not .. that's something I didn't expect to happen

The story is good, engaging and enthralling. But damn I feel lost, there are too many subplots it just became confusing, I did not predict anything bc there are way too many subplots
The love triangle was good but at some point it just became annoying, I just want to be done right now

I'm honestly starting to get impatient with the story, For god's sake make up your mind bree. i can feel everything she feels when she's around Sel, but then Nick's in the picture and everything she felt for Sel is forgotten like it never happened! what in the world
He's a really good day but right now i just wish he would something so bad that it would make everyone hate him (most importantly Sel)

although Nick is the good guy, i'm hating every chapter his in. he was only present in few chapters (thank god) but it still feels like too much, i want less of him.
Selwyn's "betrayal" tbh didn't feel that grande, like you can understand where it came from and you just can't blame him for what he did, not just that you can't help but forgive him.
