The subconscious is not your inner monologue. If it’s subconscious then why is Ana hearing it? I think she’s possessed and just doesn’t know it. That would explain her blandness; the demon erased her personality.

Ana has a dancing demon inside her head and she won’t stop thinking “Holy cow.” This book is a wild ride.

Why am I reading this? I don’t know.

I just have to say that I am absolutely loving this book so far and it is set up to be one of my favorites of the year.

It’s alright, but not my favorite. It’s interesting to compare the blockbuster movie to the original novel.
