The ability to talk about something that is beyond ‘understanding’ of the gender normative ‘male’, this book as attempted it and might I say empowered it.
As declared in the acknowledgements, Hendrix understands that he is the other end of the spectrum: childless and not able to be pregnant. However, this story explores female oppression as power- it works.
