Bought this because I thought it was part of the trilogy stared with "The Other End of Time", but it's a standalone. And a cracking good one! a plot summary makes it sound like a novel of Locraftian horrors: Man's first expedition to the stars lands them in the clutches of a godly being who is busy rearranging the nearby stars for its own reasons.
