Sometimes you start a book that makes you want to go back and rate everything one star lower because it's already totally obliterated everything else you've ever read. Called my mom within 10 pages to tell her she had to read this with me.

Reading this book, published in 2002, I understand that better. Clothier spends so much time just begging her readers not to abuse their dogs in the name of training.
