Im about halfway through and going strong. I feel like I’m reading a soft core erotic fantasy book. Don’t get me wrong, I like the book, but I feel like not much has happened other than heated sexual moments and severe abuse with hints of rape. It’s almost enough to turn me away from the book. Here’s to hoping the second half moves past this!

Okay, pause! I’m at the part where everyone is freaking out because the baby won’t stop changing and there’s no more unicorn blood and no one knows what to do...why wouldn’t they just put the moms necklace on the baby? The mom can control herself pretty well (or at least better than a baby) and they save the unicorn blood for the times the mom needs the necklace back?! Okay, rant over, I can continue reading.

I’m enjoying this book. But it hasn’t stolen me away from life like most books do. I’m normally very quick to do what needs to be done so I can read...or just skip everything and read anyways! But this book hasn’t done that for me yet. Perhaps I’ll start another one alongside this one

Fun and exciting so far! I’m really digging the puzzle aspect of the storyline. And I still have so much to go!

Ugh, things are looking rough! I need jack to come through for me.

I’m devastated because I am firmly on team jack! There’s some sick twisted thoughts in my head currently on how Evie could get out of this situation, I’m not the biggest fan of Death. Many of the reviews I’ve read have people on team Death and I just can’t get on board yet. Here’s to hoping team jack pulls through on a miracle!

I love these books! I just wish Issy would collaborate with Dex instead of complaining how they shouldn’t be together. Think of how much quicker things could get solved!
