Outstanding! Learned a great deal

This is a slow read for me but very worth it. There is a poignant spiritual journey running through for the main character as she questions what her small town has told her about her role and their understanding of their sun god.

Don’t think I’m going to finish this.

Re-reading my favorite novel from the last couple years. Wish Syed Masood would give us another!

I am adoring this book! Have to put it on hold for a book club pick but will definitely be back. I know so little about American history, and although this book does (of course) center white English settlers it does have unexpected respect for the realities of the indigenous people of this era in illuminating ways.
