I like it. I’m reading the actual physical book so it’s a little more difficult for me, i have a terrible attention span and I tend to get really sleepy, rather quickly. Anyhoo- love the premise. Trying to suspend disbelief as he jumps into the investigation thoroughly. Just think that’s weird. Not a fan of the Celine parts. She just needs to stay out of it.

Loving it so far! I really have no complaints. I’m listening to it and the narrator is just phenomenal.

This is a long book. The type is very small and the pages very thin. It's not exactly a page turner. But it's one of those books that you can put down and pick up and read a page or two and then put it down, etc. It's good to leave in the car or take to doctor's appointments. It's intriguing but not enough to have to read it in one sitting.

Quiet, slow book. I do like the details of their life because I don't know much about that time.

Eww. So much I hate about this book, including Evelyn. It saddens me that this book was so popular. Just an icky read that was mostly surface level with no emotion. Poo

The first half was such a quick read. Kind of stalling on the second half, but we'll see..

After the beginning with the incredibly annoying writer and her failed marriage and her superficial attitude.....Evelyn's story is getting much better. I almost stopped reading it...

Well…i was about ready to DNF because Ann is just a psycho. She is more than obssessed with her husband’s old life. She goes to sit in a truck so she can smell the smell that they all smelled on that fateful day. She talks about wanting to know which hand the lemonade was in. She imagines the girls singing a song that she knew and thereby she was “in the truck” at the time of the event. Please.

Still waiting for the actual story to start....

OK. I have decided that the author was just very horny when he wrote the story. He uses every opportunity that he has to make some sexual joke or innuendo or even act. Most recently, one of the female protagonist was in a meeting about politics. When she left the meeting she was suddenly overcome with strange sensations and just had to have a momentary flash of a man’s tongue between her legs.

Ughhh….
