As I read this book, I relate to Cin more and more. This quote is “last night you demanded we bring you cheese then you stated that you were the cheese queen.”

When you have a running joke with a friend from college about nachos then the main character has nachos for the first time.

She pulled a bottle of mead out of her skirt and had snacks in the pockets on the other side.

They go to Wawa. 👍🏻

Re-listening to for book club. I listened to this probably within the year it came out, but didn't log it in Goodreads. I'd say I would have given this 5 stars back then.

Quote from page 38 - "I think the most beautiful things are found in improbable places, and the most mundane moments can also be miraculous."

This is not my usual genre, but damn am I enjoying this read.

So far I am enjoying Gus. Maybe slightly less than Bright Side at this point, but I'm only a quarter onto the book. I have already started to wonder about a new character.

I'm liking that the author is letting you guess the characters' secrets. I keep changing my mind about one.

I had trouble putting the Nook down. Hopefully the rest of the book is like that.

I can already tell that I'm going to enjoy the historical portion of this book over present day.

My work is trying a virtual book club and this is the first title.

This book has been a slow read for me. I don't think it's the story, but everything else going on in my life right now.

Excellent finish to the trilogy. Kind of sad it's over. Now I need to wait to get my hands on the audiobook.
