Dear heavens, Victor is a terrible person... I have to take a break from this book: it's like reading the book of Job in the Bible without God present. Just tons of complaining. Plus, he's useless. I hope to pick it up again later and find the deeper meaning in this story... right now, I'm just annoyed.
