Yes I fixed my current reading shelf (since you know support kept saying they reset my shelf only to have it saying I was still reading them). So if anybody else has that problem make sure you have the right dates before you move it to Read shelf.

Nvm fixed it. Now if only I can get Goodreads to reset my currently reading shelf I’ll be golden 🫠

I don’t get Goodreads anymore. I can’t switch the edition to a new one without losing the edition I originally read the book in. Then I was like “oh I’ll add a new start date to show I’m rereading it” that’ll count as currently reading, right? Wrong. It’s marked as recently read even though there’s no end date. How do I get it to show up as a reread and currently reading without losing everything

My only issue with things that keep track of books you read is that they are always inaccurate. I have read at least five books this year that are not on Goodreads, so technically I have read more than it says I have. Anyone else have a problem with this?

My TBR pile is getting out of control. If anyone asks the books are planning world domination and my room happened to be the easiest. There really are so many books and very little time... help

Sometimes I feel like I should avoid places that involve books because my want to read and buy list is getting out of control. But I’m a book addict and I must have my drug. Anybody else?
And how do people get gifs and photos on their posts?

I read a book today that was so awful I will probably be fuming for the next week. Do editors not check for fragmented sentences or grammar errors anymore? It was so full of telling and no showing with so many short fragmented sentences stacked on top of each other.
I was ready to throw my Kindle across the bus that’s how much the book pissed me off.

I just read the most diabolical tweet ever. Someone’s idea of an escape room is a bookstore with clearly marked exits. Umm, we need more than an hour to escape the actual room and zero to escape in a book. Would that count as escaping?

This is one of the worst books I’ve read. I didn’t want to believe the reviews left for this book, but they are sadly all true.
Andreus only thinks with his dick and Carys has an addiction problem. It’s veering so far from what I thought the book was about that I’m only finishing it because I started it, but I won’t continue with the series.

How many other people love eavesdropping on conversations?
I do it because as a writer you never know when inspiration will hit. Also, a tiny part of myself is hoping someone will talk about one of your fandoms, but sadly, that has never happened.
If you eavesdrop on conversations, why do you do it?

So, I went to the bookstore with a coupon to buy one book and came out with two. Dividing Eden by Joelle Charbonneau was $7 plus it includes the novella which I did not know about. The 2nd book was free with the purchase so I have a physical arc copy of Ruins of Stars by Linsey Miller. Has anybody read any of these books and what are their thoughts on them?

I finally started using my Kindle again. It waits until I get to a good part of the book to restart and then once it’s finished that there’s a software update that took longer than a few minutes. It had to restart twice after that and now I’m annoyed because the book was so good I could’ve read more of it. Has this ever happened to anyone as well?

My story just reached 10k words. It’s terrible but it’s okay. That’s what first drafts are all about... I think.

Bookworm issue: when you decide to look up books only to discover that they all sound amazing. Also, glancing at bank account trying to figure out how much you can spend to buy the books. Then debating if you actually need the books. One glance at bookcase tells you no not unless you want them on your floor. So, do you splurge on the books or not? Cram into bookcase or admit defeat with floor?

Why is it every time I love a character now they die at the end of the second book? I am starting to not like second books in series because this is the third time the only character I could stand is killed in the second book. If you have to kill them at least wait until the series is over, please... 😭

Does anyone know any creepy clown characters besides Pennywise from It? My group has to do a project on discipline monsters (creepy clowns, circus clowns, elf on the shelf, etc.) and are looking for ideas.

Bookworm dilemma: needing a book that’s not too small you’ll breeze through it in an hour but not too big you can only take it to certain places.
So many big books I can’t fit it in my school bag with the books I need for English class 😂

I’m starting to feel like I should no longer have favorite characters. They keep dying and taking a piece of me with them. But it’s fine I don’t really need my heart. They can take it and stomp on it and I’ll be back for more.
