I love Nalini, I love all of her different series and the start of this is not lacking anything specifically. It's just that I'm only 60 pages in and this already sounds like the last five books I've read in the Psy-Changeling series. Oh I'm sure there will be some little nugget in this book about the failure of the Psynet but I'm having a difficult time picking it up when I set it down.

I'm not sure what it is, but I'm having a difficult time finishing this book. The problem is I feel like I'm a little too far in to abandon it now...

This book of short stories is best in small doses so I'm reading it at the same time as a couple of other books because it can be very mind-bendingly intense. Nonetheless, I completely geek out on this sort of sci-fi 😆

I'm really struggling to like any of these characters and it makes the story difficult to care about.... not sure I'll read the rest of the series but I'll stick out the rest of the book, I think....

Excellent short stories but a bit intense to read each one back-to-back....unless you're in the mood for that.

I've enjoyed this book but wish it would just get to the bloody point... no pun intended.

Ugggghhh, I'm struggling to get through this one. It took 300 and some pages to get to the point and get past Ahilya's childish and continually argumentative thought processes....

I'm interested in this book when I'm reading it, but once I set it down I start to care less about picking it back up again. Forward march, let's see if I'll want to read the next in the series!

I'm really struggling to care about where this story is going. If the next chapter doesn't get better, I'm jumping ship.
