Finally, a well-written book. I'm surprised by how I'm devouring this.

I love that the detective is kind of a bitch 😂

This book has apparently NOT grabbed my attention, because three times now I have started listening, realized my attention has wandered, and rewound from the fifth chapter back to about the second chapter. It doesn't feel punishing so far, just dull. I guess I'm expecting it to ramp up eventually, and I don't have any more engaging books checked out currently, so here we are.

Predicted part of the reveals so far, but not all of them! I don't care more than usual for any of the characters, but the story/mystery is very interesting to me.
