It’s good! The Iliad starts much later than I thought based on Song of Achilles but I’m enjoying this so far! A little hard to understand in parts

It’s really good! I like it better than the first so far. It definitely is leading into being more “woke” if you will. I am enjoying the non-binary character Alex Fierro and his/her relationship with Magnus

Really good! There are some plot points that really hit and then some that are not as exciting. We’re getting a lot of team development. I will say despite me tiring of the “I’m afraid I’m gonna lose control” cliche, I feel like book is moving very fast at times. I am thinking this book was originally the 200(ish) hundred pages of extra content that Iron Flame was but was edited down and I think it suffers

Tons of Twist and Turns! I’m loving this so far! Has a lot of similarities to Harry Potter Order of the Phoenix

I forgot Talshib might be suspect, too. Due to the way that Formbi seems to be almost afraid but knowing of a conspiracy. His demeanor after the talk with Talshib and Drask could be because he's being influenced or persuaded to move against the two Jedi so the Chiss may have it to themselves. Although if that's the case, there may be an ulterior Political Chiss motive that had Formbi going along with it.

I have gotten to the plot of a secret sabeteur on the ship, and I believe Fel is innocent. I predict that... I actually have no idea. It could be Drask but that seems a little too obvious. It could be Grappler. A rogue Stormtrooper would be an interesting plot point. Frombi would also be interesting and unexpected. I'm really not sure who to suspect. I'm pretty confident it isn't Jean Jinzler

Luke and Mara are about to drown and he asks her to marry him. I love the action and everything going on but I don't see how that's at all related to what's going on. I understand the "well of we die, I want to be with you" trope but wow. I literally burst out laughing. Not a big fan of that, save it for the epilogue

I'm conflicted. A lot has happened since the Thrawn Trilogy in the universe at this point and I'm just learning that Luke had kinda lost his way during that time. It feels a little uncomfortable to me that Luke has basically fallen off his jedi game. This book isn't so "let's fight the bad guys" and is more unclean and murky about who's right and who's wrong
