Loved it! Felt along the lines of an academic journal that gets just a bit too personal. Reminded me of an older series I enjoyed, the compendium of dragons. I enjoyed Emily, she’s a fun character and the fae were along the lines I’m used to. Definitely recommend and I can’t wait to try the next one.

It’s definitely better than Vol1 and actually feels like this should have been Vol 1. The story was more interesting and the characters had more time to breath, and distinguish themselves. Some parts were tired, the father calling incessantly, but I’m excited to see where it goes
