I ended up DNFing at 45% It felt as though there was no adventure. While the characters were super interesting with their different traits it could not make up for the lack of plot.

Might come back to this one at a later date.

I’m determined to finish this book. I’m still not enraptured by the plot. It’s confusing and seems to be mostly about gambling.

So far I’m not impressed. However I have reached chapter 16 and it started picking up. Hoping it continues getting better. 🤞🏻
