It’s going to take me a minute to get into the flow of their writing, but I have a feeling this will be a good book. They just seem to jump around from one topic to another very quickly and then jump back to where they started.

Finally in the New Testament!

Gah! I was 2 hours away from finishing the audiobook when it returned on me. Now I have to wait 12 weeks!!! To finish it! Hopefully I can find it at the library. If not, I’m just going to purchase this series. It’s enjoyable.

Slowly working my way through the Old Testament, almost done with Ezekiel. This has been a fun way to read through the Bible this year.

Not a fan of the language or the fact that the main character is lesbian, isn’t really needed to be mentioned as much as it is…. BUT I am eating up this story, it’s been pretty captivating. Not sure if it’s a 5⭐️ or even a 4⭐️ (it’s close) but it has me wondering what’s going to happen next.

Still walking through the Bible everyday with Paul David Tripp. I have thoroughly enjoyed his devotional insights.

I have enjoyed walking through the Bible cover to cover with this book. It’s been a great addition to my daily reading.

I’m nearing the end of the story of Theo and I’m not sure I’m ready to say goodbye. He’s so sweet and thoughtful. Makes you want to slow down and truly appreciate things in life.

I’m a quarter way through this book and in love with Mr Theo. I want to sit and have coffee with this old man. Can’t wait to know more of his story and his interactions with the townspeople.

I have decided to DNF this book.

This seems to be a good second part to the series. Curious to see what all happens.

This story is very reminiscent of The Hunger Games yet different. I’m excited to see what all happens with Paedyn and Kai.

“God intended His Word to be our anchor in the storms of life. Within the pages of His Book, He builds, precept upon precept, a picture of the One we can trust. He is a righteous God, perfect and holy in all His ways.” - pg 131

This is a very cute story. I have fallen in love with Blair and Declan.

These books are so easy to get sucked into.

Pretty sure this is getting DNF’d. The editing in this book is poor, so many misspellings of her character’s name. But besides that, the prose is very hard for me to get into. I am struggling connecting with the characters and don’t really desire to know what happens. Also, the faith aspect is rough. I usually love retellings, this one is falling flat.

I tried reading this years ago and only got halfway, I figured I’d try to read it again. I think I know why I stopped, it is so full of fluff! There’s no meat, no true depth to what Lucado is sharing. I am going to keep reading, but I think my love of Locado has come to a stop. So far, I’m disappointed in this book.

I never realized how much I enjoy writing from past years. The language that is used to describe the situations is so refined and different from what we use everyday, it’s refreshing.

Listening to this on my daughter’s request. I think this may be a book that she would like to read. It has pulled me in pretty quickly and it’s not too fantastic for her.

When I saw that this was a dragon story and a fairytale retelling…I was hooked. This is a fun read so far. Still trying to figure out the deal with the Dragons and the Jewels.

This is an interesting Christian Fantasy. Enjoying the short chapters, curious to see how the theology plays in this tale.
