This seems to be a good second part to the series. Curious to see what all happens.

This story is very reminiscent of The Hunger Games yet different. I’m excited to see what all happens with Paedyn and Kai.

This is a very cute story. I have fallen in love with Blair and Declan.

These books are so easy to get sucked into.

Pretty sure this is getting DNF’d. The editing in this book is poor, so many misspellings of her character’s name. But besides that, the prose is very hard for me to get into. I am struggling connecting with the characters and don’t really desire to know what happens. Also, the faith aspect is rough. I usually love retellings, this one is falling flat.

I tried reading this years ago and only got halfway, I figured I’d try to read it again. I think I know why I stopped, it is so full of fluff! There’s no meat, no true depth to what Lucado is sharing. I am going to keep reading, but I think my love of Locado has come to a stop. So far, I’m disappointed in this book.

I never realized how much I enjoy writing from past years. The language that is used to describe the situations is so refined and different from what we use everyday, it’s refreshing.

Listening to this on my daughter’s request. I think this may be a book that she would like to read. It has pulled me in pretty quickly and it’s not too fantastic for her.

When I saw that this was a dragon story and a fairytale retelling…I was hooked. This is a fun read so far. Still trying to figure out the deal with the Dragons and the Jewels.

This is an interesting Christian Fantasy. Enjoying the short chapters, curious to see how the theology plays in this tale.

This book is definitely focused more on the romance than the actual plot. Not sure I’m enjoying it as much as the first story.

Never read anything by this author before. So far it’s a fairly interesting Christian Mystery/Thriller.

This book has grabbed my attention.

Reading this because my daughter asked me to. So far I like this more than the Cruel Prince. The pace is quick and engaging.

I love the way Francine writes.

At first I felt like he was yelling at me. Now that I’ve gotten a feel for his writing I can appreciate his nuggets of wisdom.

Not sure how I am feeling about this story.

I’m enjoying the banter between Bilbo and Smaug.
