Considering DNFing - there's only so much I can read about women being assaulted and treated like shit

Apparently I just can't get enough of the pandemic and need to start each year by reading about one

This audiobook is 19 hours and my goal is to finish it before 2022 - given my track record with audiobooks I am not betting on myself lol

Why do I leave such long gaps between the books in this series??? I know that I love this series and I'm sure it'll all come back to me once I'm in the swing of things but I cannot remember for the life of me what went on in the last books lol

I’m not finding the main character believable as a human being - her inner monologue is so weirdly and unnecessarily dramatic

I like how I use books to escape the stresses in my everyday life and yet this series never fails to STRESS me to my very core

How do these robots have more depth to them than most human characters?????
