I want to say I hate Lily but it seems she really has nothing to go home to so she's desperate to use this as an escape route.... which doesn't bode well for her at all.

The short man & tall man remain creepy and unknown.... The mention of the stone spire made me smile. The sprinkles of Night Vale in her life are amusing.

So are they together or what the hell is this? I am so put off by the overuse of the word "fuck."

I have decided that I don't like this book but I will be finishing it out of sheer curiosity. What the hell happened in the past? I don't think she left, I think someone may have killed her? I don't know. Still waiting for the reveal. STOP SAYING PEBBLED SKIN. Wet entrance? EW. And I still don't know what half of these creatures are....descriptions are vague.

Alright, Libby audiobook is giving me a second look at this one. I still have no idea what's happening, but so far, it still seems like lead-up to actual story.

Narration is kind of slow, I had to turn it up to 1.25% so that it doesn't sound like a poetry performance.
