Lucked out on an "lucky day collection" at my library where select popular books are loaned out for only 7 days, instead of the usual 21. Almost done with it, and it's Flavia at her best!

Surprisingly enjoyable so far. Not salacious but gracious regarding those with hoarding tendencies. Also points out how most (in first world scenario) have these tendencies to a smaller degree. Fascinating so far.

Opened this to read a few pages and couldn't put it down til after midnight! So, so interesting!

Really loving this so far. It's a quick read, I read half in one night. A man's journey to find healing and redemption through an unplanned 500 mile walk up the isle of England.

LOVING this book! Stories about books make me all nostalgic and warm and fuzzy.

I don't think I breathed for the entirety of chapter 33. Phew!!

This book is interesting so far, a little hard to get into because of my lack of knowledge of the land and history. Intrigued to learn more though!

i only made about 100 pages. so dry! i didn't have the heart to finish so i returned it to the library.

I shouldn't have started this in the middle of the day...I have to make dinner and I don't want to stop reading!!! It's going to be a candle-burning night.

i seriously need some new books!!!!!!!!!!!!!

STOP STORY: final post of my story for the Goodreads Status Update Writing Contest

8:27am: So...sleepy...I’ve just got to close my eyes for a few minutes… when I wake up, everything will be better...

8:26am: I guess if she wants to talk to me, she knows where I am. (apparently). Well, the doorbell will wake me up.

8:23am: Still hasn’t moved. What is her deal? What is going on? My brain is so fuzzy, I can’t even see straight.

8:11am: She’s been sitting out there for 10 minutes without moving. Feel like I'm in a movie or something.

8:00am: Mrs. Slut herself is sitting in her car outside my house. No John in sight. Did he tell her where I live? What does she want???

7:53am: She wants to know if I have heard from him. So his MOM is in on it too?!?! No way, this is just getting…

7:49am: She seems worried. Said she's getting weird phone calls from John. He says nothing’s wrong but sounds panicked and then cuts off.

7:48am: John’s mom called.

7:27am: Like do they just automatically help each other be jerks like some sort of “brother power” or something? Cause it’s stupid.

7:26am: Why would Chris say that? Are all boys in stupid conspiracies together?

7:23am: Chris' words: “there was an invisible bubble that he couldn’t get out of. he sort of looked like a mime in a glass box.” Wha-

7:21am: Saw him leaving with leggy blond (aka: slut) sort of trying to run away from her, or something?
