A bit boring chapter 2

I like Apollo’s narration but I can’t believe we are almost halfway through the book and we don’t really have a quest yet

Very interesting stuff with the male hunter, I wish we could have seen how they killed him but I liked it and I also liked learning about Reyna’s past

I’m obsessed with Jason character arch about his mother and belonging at camp, so I loved his POV and I think the trio of Reyna, coach Hedge and Nico is fucking amazing

Wow, the ending of the Tartarus plot was astounding. So sad, but I think it makes Annabeth look worse than Percy (for the future Nico story)

I loved Jason’s POV, some things about Tartarus I love and some feel a little bit lazy

I hate this portrayal of Nyx and her children oh my god, I was waiting for something so much better and serious. The most difficult part of the journey is the most easily escaped??

Piper is still boring, I finally read Percy vs Misery and while I liked it, I also feel like it was “too easy” for Percy to defeat such a powerful goddes

We’ve reached Cupid’s part. Very sad 😔😔 but Jason is so nice to Nico and I’m also loving Bob.

I’m so glad this time around Frank and Hazel’s POV are sSO strong, some of my favourite. I really want to read more Jason though.

Oh my goddddd. I love Annabeth’s idea of making Arachne do the Chinese trap that Frank had asked her to explain to him. Such a clever way to tie it back.

Nico talking about Tartarus oh my god. The first demigod to survive hell and the only one to do it alone.

Finally Nico is out of the jar. Percy is so mean 🫤🫤

That part with Leo was fun. Still no Nico though 🫤

Finally we meet Arachneee I was so excited for this part. Although I think the tests before Annabeth got to her where a bit to easy for no one to have succeeded before.

The subplot with Hercules was just ridiculous. But I like the idea of Annabeth going on a quest by herself and we are getting closer to saving Nico, finally.
