It was okay. Not great. I usually read books in order and realized too late that this was # 18. But it was okay even though it wasn't followed in order. It made a good singular novel without having to read the others. It was a mild thriller and jumped back and forth between two protectives at slightly different times. It just wasn't quite as entertaining as other books by J.A. Jance so I was a bit disappointed.
