This book slowly started shaping up.

Again what is this. I had to look up that word. Seriously 😒 this book needs an editor. A critical eye would help bring this book back down to planet Earth.

What even is this???? It sounds like a line for a zombie book. Cliche and def trying too hard.

It throbs in my mind like a luscious fruit that splits open to reveal stringy, rotted flesh.

Ugh 😑 this book is bad. It seems like a book the author had lying around in a drawer and then just decided to publish. Still hoping it gets better.

Right off, I’m not a huge fan of the title because something blue was referenced in Something Borrowed (he borrowed a blue sweater which Rusty/Blake from book 2 make reference to being something borrowed and something blue.)

So sometimes I think people think I rate things harshly. I only rate on the basis of what a story is. Ie, if it’s cute and sweet then that’s what I rate it on. If it’s meant to be a sub/dom book then that’s what I rate it on. And finally I always rate down; if a reading is 2.5 I will rate it a 2. If it’s a 3.7 I’m going to rate it a 3. That’s just the standard I adopted.

Hope you have a sweet tooth. I honestly can’t say why I like this so much. But it is the perfect light summery read. Uber cute. Prob one of my favorite by this author.

I have to say I’m really enjoying this. It’s cute and I love Hope Springs. Hoping to see some familiar faces.

Okay. Now things are heating up. Hawt damn. This second sex scene is a thing of beauty.

So I like the story. It’s just that given the time setting it doesn’t fully ring true. And one of the mains Truce sounds like a husky brut of a bottom but then is of course the top. Also using butter as lube is gross. I would’ve just liked spit. I do enjoy the characters and the overall plot.

So far it's a cute read but for some reason I keep wandering away from this book. It's not really keeping my interest.

Liking it so far. The writing isn’t mind blowing but the story is really cute. At first I wondered if there was gonna be any sexy times. But then one of the mains keeps saying they need time; only to be jumping in the others lap in the next paragraph. A little strange.

This book is too sugary sweet. I'm not really feeling it. It's like character one loses dog. Character two calls character one and they instantly fall in love through txt/phone conversations. And then they meet and it's like nirvana. Its a S T R E T CH.
Returned to kindle UNFINISHED.

Okay, so I was having a little trouble keeping the characters straight. Mostly because one is Wilde and one is Walker. But I do like this series. The second book wasn't as good as the first. I can already tell I like this book much more than the second book. I think the second book didn't have enough of Hobie in it. Love these small town characters with big personality.

I'm abandoning this series. I only read up to 20% before I had to call it quits. As a whole it is too wishy washi. Some way mid through this became a horrible mess and I am hard pressed to waste my time any longer.

Here we go. The first book was okay. It certainly didnt blow me away. Personally, I thought it was about middle of the road for this author. Here's hoping this one is better.

Nice and sweet so far. A few editorial mishaps but nothing major.
