I have not finished reading a Dead Wizard's Dream yet, but I want to share my impressions to date: this book engaged me from the very start; populated with characters that range from the likeable to the quirky to the mysterious; having an intriguing storyline; and is very richly written--this is also its only fault, to date, as it is at times too much. Now, who is that kid whose father got murdered? I need to know.

DiPaolo L.A. is on page 15 of 148 of The Old Man's Request: Book One of the Utgarda Trilogy
I picked up this book by Joab Stieglitz this weekend and started reading it straight away. Joab's writing style is truly enjoyable: with a rich and descriptive vocabulary in an easy-to-read prose, he pulls you straight into the adventure and keeps you reading. I will likely complete this book within a week and let you know more once I do.

Sanderson’s originality is what hooked me on the Stormlight Archives: Roshar’s ecology, environment, cultures and religions - I was amazed by it all. Oathbringer is not filling me with the same wonder I felt in the first two books. Things seem to be rushed. The emotions I feel are not as intense as they were. However, learning about Dalinar’s past, as well as seeing the change in Adolin, still do keep me reading.
