I didn’t enjoy this book at all. It felt like the author went overboard with the main character, making him a vehicle for every possible stereotype. The portrayal came across as overly deliberate and heavy-handed, which made the story feel forced rather than authentic. Unfortunately, it just didn’t work for me.
