Really enjoyed this one — captivating, tense and definitely kept me reading. But I felt conflicted because I’m quite familiar with the Gabby Petito case and couldn’t shake the feeling that this was loosely based on it.
I was torn between being engrossed in the story and feeling uncomfortable enjoying something so similar to a tragic real-life death. Great book, but definitely left me with mixed feelings.
