J'en suis aux premiers chapitres et Loys Masson m'a englouti entier. La narration est déroutante à cause du changement entre les personnages. Couples infidèles, un enfant qu'on envoi à la famille pour que la mère puisse fricoter ailleurs. C'est aussi ça Maurice. Pas que des plages de sables blanc et une eau turquoise.

I came across this book by pure coincidence and what a surprise ! A lot of reviews talk about how shocking the themes are but aren't adults to be blame for raising kids in a culture where sex is taboo ? Kids certainly talk about sex and not only Dora the Explorer. Can't wait for the rest.

So far the book has been underwhelming. I'm trying to be optimistic about the reading but it"s rather daunting due to it's lengthy and detailed narrative. Not that I dislike narratives but the author failed to catch my interest. He keeps pestering why the creatures took his Machine. And his account of the time travel is rather dull. I'll be reading until the end.
