Not boring, bit more direction that book one
Evangeline is working my nerves.

I'm about 1/3 through and I really don't know what we're doing yet. It's not boring and visiting with Caraval characters is great. Evangeline is likable also, but I have no direction. I don't like spoilers, so I only lightly browse book descriptions. I will happily persist.

Okay, Mom's phone number needs to be blocked.

Looks like the MMC and FMC are growing a backbone. Let's see if they keep it. Okay, this is reminding me a little of Jacob, Leah, and Rachel.

I liked Raven in the previous book. So far, I'm loving Raven even more in this book. I can't stand Hannah, her sister, who is self-centered and selfish. She started this whole mess in the first place. This is the type of book that I stop and fuss at the characters as if they can hear me. I really need a book club.
