I actually paid for this book and I am utterly disappointed so far

God I hate Jason

I have to pause on this book. It’s fast paced, but I’m just finding that it was very instant love and yeah, I don’t know. I’m not feeling it.

The whole relationship with Penelope is just odd to me. I’m on the chapter where Penn finds out that Scarlett and Lucas are going to hook up and she’s just coming across very nonchalant like it doesn’t bother her but I’m literally like you two were together for so long this whole thing is just to me I’m really struggling with this book.

Chapter 21. Audible

I’m not enjoying this book as much as I thought I would. I can feel the tension building between the main characters, but the fact that she’s friends with his ex really gives me the ick. He’s also moving so slowly, and I just need things to pick up. I’ve decided to pause it for now, read a few other books, and hopefully come back to it later.
