already crying…

i love how absolutely freaky and freakish these books are in comparison to the Fitz trilogies … Everyone is scaly and horny (dragons and humans alike). Meanwhile, Selden is about to be ?? eaten ??

this slaps. sure, everyone’s melodramatic beyond anything i’ve ever witnessed before but it’s FUN

this book is insane—i’ve gone from continuously tearing up to outright sobbing for the past hundred pages. am genuinely not sure how i would’ve handled it had f&f not yet been published. fitzloved lowkey takes the cake as The Relationship of all time

my no. 1 queerplatonic couple strikes again

so many men …….. genuinely, what terrible company there is on this stupid boat …….. i’m in dire need of female characters beyond the dream realm

truly cannot stand chade ...

never have i been this upset over characters fighting ……… and fitz is like a 100% in the wrong ….. this is ROUGH

1) amber my love 🩷
2) ARGHHH FITZ NO

😝

first 2/3 of this was super cozy, but now i’m severely anxious
