I am 7 pages in and the writing is HORRIBLE! I think I could cobble something better together. If I would have paid for this book at Target, I would be livid. Horrible writing, so stupid so far. Deleting from my Kindle bc I refuse to go into a reading slump. This is garbage🗑

This book has had us in tears! Phew, I am truly shocked at how moving it has been. My kid's first experience really reading African American fiction and they are LOVING it! Incorporating Jesus, therapy, trials, and overcoming them has been more than we expected from this author! So good! Plan to buy joanna the entire series!

I have no more tears to cry 😭😭😭😭 the last 20% of this book has absolutely wrecked me. I don't think I've ever in my life cried this much over a book. I'm on vacation and this is truly a soul cry. A good cleansing. Lord I can't take ANY MORE!
