i love this so much so far... i want to write such a review but idek if i could do it justice... the writing is so good. I thought it was going to be too long and get boring but it really hasn't. this may be influenced by the fact I am in love with the protagonist.... but still. give me more butch characters in books pleeeeaaase I feel so spoiled now I need more more more!!!!!

man I wrote a bunch of stuff but my phone fucked up and deleted it. I don't like Miles (I say this lovingly) and I'm really enjoying the family dynamics explored in this so far. not what I was expecting at all. i think I'm either gonna love this or hate it.

it's disgusting, and i love it. i almost didn't give it a chance because i didn't like The Invention of Sound at all. it just didn't really have what i usually look for in chuck's writing. im excited to say this one is absolutely revolting at only 9%.
