The sheriff is still an absolute moron. She should have never been the sheriff. I don't give a fuck about her imposter syndrome.

Everyone in this story except the MCs deserve a flogging. The sheriff was a bumbling moron who couldn't see past her ego and insecurities, the ex was a pathetic loser, the receptionist was dumb as a bag of rocks.

I love Byte. Adorably grumpy.

So far, I'm loving this. The audiobook narrator is also someone who has read Alice Coldbreath and that just makes this book so much better.
